You can feel the momentum.
Jet Greaves was sensational, making 29 saves for his second career shutout, and the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 3-0 on Tuesday at Wells Fargo Center.
Columbus has won five straight to stay alive in the playoff race. The Montreal Canadiens host the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday at Bell Centre. The Blue Jackets need the Canadiens to lose in regulation and then beat the Islanders in regulation on Thursday.
Jet Fueling Jackets
Coming off First Star of the Week honors for his 3-0-0 run last week, Greaves was perfect yet again. The 24-year-old stopped all 29 shots to pick up his second-career shutout. All since Saturday.

Fabbro Nets Game-Winner
Dante Fabbro continued a career year with his eighth goal at 2:32 of the second period to break the scoreless tie. His 25th point is a new career high, and he's +20 on the year.
Dante Fabbro picks up his 8th of the season and gives the #CBJ a 1-0 lead at 2:32 in the 2nd period.

Assists go to Zach Werenski and Sean Monahan. Werenski ties Rick Nash for third-most points in franchise history (79). Only Panarin has more (87, 82).pic.twitter.com/824A67WzRU
Zach Werenski and Sean Monahan each had the first of two assists, as Werenski picked up his 57th and Monahan added his 36th. Werenski is riding a five-game point streak (two goals, four assists). Monahan is also on a five-game point streak (two goals, five assists).
Werenski has tied Rick Nash (2008-09) with 79 points. A defenseman equaling Rick Nash's career high in points. Amazing season for Z.

Artemi Panarin now the only #CBJ player to have more points or assists than Werenski in a season. https://t.co/tMqufHKG60
Superstars In The Making
Kent Johnson made it 2-0 with a power-play goal for his 24th at 17:01 of the third period. Monahan’s assist was his 37th, and Werenski’s assist was his 58th. Johnson is on a five-game point streak (two goals, five assists).
#CBJ go up 2-0 late in the 2nd period on a Kent Johnson power play goal. Like on Fabbro's goal earlier in the frame, it's Monahan and Werenski with the apples.

This book is getting GOOD.pic.twitter.com/Xsyi3dD5ET
Zach Werenski the second assist on the #CBJ power-play goal and becomes just the second Jacket to have an 80-point season. Artemi Panarin did it twice.
— Jeff Svoboda (@JacketsInsider) April 16, 2025
Werenski's 58th assist puts him within one of Panarin's single-season record from 2018-19.
Both #CBJ goals tonight started with Sean Monahan winning a faceoff in the Philly zone.

Imagine if he didn't miss ten weeks...
Adam Fantilli stayed red-hot with his 30th goal to make it 3-0 and provide the key insurance marker to salt this one away. He’s on a three-game point streak with five goals over his last three games and six over his last four games. Kirill Marchenko added his 42nd assist, and Ivan Provorov picked up his 26th.
Big Mo, Big Goal. Fantilli gets his 30th (!!!) of the season and puts the #CBJ up 3-0 with less than seven minutes remaining. pic.twitter.com/o01SRcOpYC

Adam Fantilli is now just the ninth #CBJ player to score 30 goals in a season and the second youngest in franchise history after Rick Nash (2003-04)
— Jeff Svoboda (@JacketsInsider) April 16, 2025
Fantilli has 23 goals in the last 42 games. What a building block for the Jackets.
Fantilli said in the postgame that he was in Toronto on Monday to bury his grandfather. His grandfathers favorite team was Philly and Fantilli credited his grandfather with the lucky bounce on his goal tonight. #CBJ

With three more goals, the Blue Jackets set the franchise record with 261, breaking the 2021-22 mark when they scored 258.
Kirill Marchenko's 73rd point of the season ties Nick Foligno for seventh all-time in #CBJ history for a single season.

Samuel Ersson made 31 saves on 34 shots for the Flyers.
