There are many nights where Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has saved the team's tail. Tonight was not one of those nights.
While the score was 3-1 in favor of the Blue Jackets, the Ottawa Senators were given a gift in the form of a misplay from Bobrovsky.
The Senators Nick Paul threw a harmless puck towards the net and the puck would hit the heel of Bobrovsky's stick trickling its way through the Russian goaltenders five-hole.
It would be the start of four unanswered goals against before defenseman Zach Werenski would score with a little over thirty seconds left to make it a 5-4 game.
Bobrovsky would end his night with a .821 save percentage saving 23 of 28 shots in a loss.
