Defenseman Jack Johnson is a healthy scratch for the Columbus Blue Jackets as the club goes for its 10th-straight win against the Florida Panthers Thursday night at Nationwide Arena.
It's the first time Johnson, who has struggled of late, has been a healthy scratch under head coach John Tortorella. The team made the announcement minutes before puck drop for the game between Eastern Conference foes.
Fellow blueliner Seth Jones will wear Johnson's “A” tonight.
Johnson has three goals, seven assists and is –9 in 74 games for the Blue Jackets this season.
