Pierre-Luc Dubois has put together a strong rookie season.

The Blue Jackets weren't sure if they could use him at center early on, but once he assumed the No. 1 center role with Artemi Panarin and Josh Anderson/Cam Atkinson, he took off and hasn't looked back.

On Tuesday in Edmonton, Dubois set up Panarin's first-period goal that brought the Blue Jackets within a goal at 3-2 (they would go on to tie it minutes later). It was his 40th point of the season, setting a new Blue Jackets record for most points by a rookie forward, surpassing a mark previously held by Rick Nash (39).

In what's already been an impressive rookie campaign, Dubois has only continued to improve and he's still just 19 years old.
