The Blue Jackets' six-game playoff run ended two weeks ago, but there's still an interest in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Yes, the local team blew a 2-0 series lead and was bounced by the Washington Capitals. It was a forgettable collapse, but central Ohio is still watching playoff hockey. Released today by the NBC Sports Group, local TV ratings show Columbus as the 12th-best market ahead of cities like Philadelphia and St. Louis, while surprisingly close to the hockey-crazy Twin Cities.

Don't let anyone tell you Columbus doesn't like hockey. Imagine what would happen if the Blue Jackets made a deep playoff run? Holy smokes.
