The Blue Jackets selected forward Tyler Angle with the 212th pick in the seventh round.

Angle in 58 games played in the OHL for the Windsor Spitfires scored 20 goals and pitched in with 24 assists for a total of 44 points.

Standing at 5'10", Angle is described as an undersized forward with a nose for the net.

From The Athletic's Corey Pronman on Angle, "He’s quick and skilled and showed he could create offense in the OHL."

More from OHL Writers about Angle:

If he can continue to work on his defensive game, add some much-needed bulk and keep his work ethic at the level he’s at now, I don’t see why he can’t be an effective third liner at the next level who can eventually kill penalties and put up some points.
