Well, there's one big target off the board. According to Larry Brooks' Twitter, Ilya Kovalchuk has decided to stay in the KHL for one more season. NJD attempted to make a deal, but in the end, it was all Koby's decision.

I don't think this breaks the CBJ's offseason, but Kovy's potential definitely intrigued me. I'll be waiting (not so) patiently to see what happens with the Duchene madness as well. 

In the end, I believe CBJ's roster is just fine, but shoring up a few different places can't hurt.
