A Sunday morning roster move has put a young forward back in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Sonny Milano has been assigned to the Cleveland Monsters of the AHL. Milano has five goals with five assists on the year for a total of ten points in 24 games this season.

Milano at 5v5 this year owns a 53.4%Corsi For which puts him just outside the top five among forwards. Meanwhile, his scoring chance percentage puts him on the bottom half of the team.

In his past two games, Milano only saw five shifts total in the third period.

In one game in the AHL this year, Milano has one assist. The Cleveland Monsters are 7-8-2 this season and has 18 points in 19 games played this season. They also own the worst goal differential in the entire league at -18. This will be a welcome offensive punch for a team that desperately needs it.
