This week is larger than the last week, but since we all know that I wanted to throw out an idea:

Supposedly Toronto was willing to trade Marner for Rantanen, and then sign Rantanen to an 8 year deal at 12.5 million per. Marner declined to waive his no-trade clause, and Rantanen is now in Dallas.

Would anyone pay $12.5 million for 8 years to sign Marner as an FA to the CBJ? If not, what should the CBJ offer him? Is anyone interested in signing him to wear Union blue?
