That is one way to bounce back from a drubbing.

The Columbus Blue Jackets ended their first period against the New York Islanders, 3-0, but it was all started from their forward Artemi Panarin.

Panarin takes the puck and skates circles around the Islanders before finding his defenseman Zach Werenski all alone in front. It is a sublime pass and an impressive finish for the duo.

It only makes the team's performance all the more frustrating from this past Tuesday. Early in this game against the Islanders, the Blue Jackets are controlling the pace and establishing their will against them.

Both Panarin and Werenski ended the first period with multiple points. Werenski has one goal and one assist while Panarin has two assists.
