The offseason gives some players an opportunity to try out something different. That can be new hobbies or different training regiments. In the case of Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Seth Jones, he has decided to try out sled hockey.
The folks from USA Hockey gave him the opportunity to try it out for the first time and he came away impressed.
"It was tough, I'll tell ya," said Jones about his experience trying out sled hockey.
Jones may continue on as a Blue Jackets defenseman but he definitely has a new found respect for those that play sled hockey. Luckily, he is pretty darn good at his day job.
