Boy, can Zach Werenski shoot the puck.
He notched three goals tonight against Sergei Bobrovsky and the Florida Panthers to record the third hat trick by a defenseman in Blue Jackets history. He joins Bryan Berard (1/8/06) and Deron Quint (3/9/01) in the record books. It is Werenski's first NHL hat trick.
His first goal gave the Blue Jackets a 1-0 lead in the first period.

What a night for the Blue Jackets' defenseman — and for the Blue Jackets, who played a fantastic game against the Florida Panthers.
