Ryan Poehling had three points with a goal and two assists to lead the Philadelphia Flyers to their fifth straight win, 5-2, on Sunday at Wells Fargo Center. The Columbus Blue Jackets dropped their ninth straight, matching a franchise winless streak.
Poehling's second-period goal came while shorthanded on a 2-on-0 break. The Flyers have a league-leading five shorthanded goals.
Joel Farabee and Cam York each had two points with a goal and an assist.
Bobby Brink was back in the lineup after missing the previous three games as a healthy scratch and scored the power play goal in the middle frame for the Flyers.
Travis Konecny scored his team-leading 11th.
Sean Walker had two assists to extend a four-game point streak (one goal, five assists). Garnet Hathaway and Louie Belpedio also had an assist.
Samuel Ersson made 20 saves.
Alexandre Texier and Boone Jenner scored for the Blue Jackets. Jenner has a team-leading eight goals. Sean Kuraly, Mathieu Oliver, and Ivan Provorov had the assists. Provorov is on a three-game point streak (one goal, two assists).
Spencer Martin made 21 saves.
The Flyers have scored a league-leading 25 first-period goals. Damon Severson left the game in the second period with an upper-body injury and did not return.
Patrik Laine Sits Out
Patrik Laine sat out Sunday's game against the Flyers as a healthy scratch. It was the first time in his eight-year career, spanning 471 games, that Laine was a healthy scratch.
He was benched in the third period on Thursday against the Arizona Coyotes, missing the final 9:53. Laine was benched for the final 6:26 during Saturday's third-period loss to the Washington Capitals.

As a result, the Blue Jackets went with 11 forwards and seven defensemen. Adam Boqvist drew back in.
Ivan Provorov Returns to Philly
Provorov spent seven seasons in Philadelphia before the summer trade with Columbus.

He picked up a point on Jenner's goal at 17:57 of the second period. Provorov was originally credited with the goal.
