If the Blue Jackets are going to be perennial contenders in the future, they are going to need significant contributions from--among others--Adam Fantilli, Kent Johnson, and Cole Sillinger.

Halfway through the season, the 19-year-old Fantilli has 11-13--24 in 41 games, the 20-year-old Sillinger has posted 7-10--17 in 36 contests, and Johnson, 21, has recorded 6-7--13 in 25 games.

The 24 goals between the three players haven't been meaningless either. The Blue Jackets are 5-3-3 when Fantilli scores, 4-1-0 when Johnson scores, and 2-0-2 when Sillinger scores. When either of them score, they're 7-3-5, which is a 103-point pace.

It's one thing for these players to score in a blowout loss, but they've scored big goals, including several game-winning and game-tying goals.

This season is about the young players learning how to win. Unfortunately, the Blue Jackets have won just 13 of their first 41 games. How much learning has there been?

These three players are pillars of this franchise, and it's encouraging to see them scoring in big moments.

How many more big goals will this trio score this season?
