There was really nothing good about Game 2, and there was also nothing good about the Blue Jackets' late-game antics.
Yes, part of their approach in this series is to get under the skin of the Pittsburgh Penguins. No, it has not worked, and they face a 2-0 deficit with Game 3 looming at Nationwide Arena tomorrow. Whether Matt Calvert is part of the Columbus lineup remains to be seen, as the NHL's Department of Player Safety wants to talk to him for his cross-check to the back of Penguins forward Tom Kuhnahckl.
Columbus' Matt Calvert will have a hearing today for cross-checking Pittsburgh's Tom Kuhnhackl.

If you need a reminder of what happened, use this for reference:
The incident isn't a good look for Calvert, who doesn't have a disciplinary track record and is generally regarded as a tough-but-fair competitor. ESPN/TSN hockey insider Pierre LeBrun says that while nothing is final, there was a chance earlier today that Calvert is not suspended and receives a fine from the league.
I think sense with DOPS is that sticks break so easily... still, I disagree. I think it's worth a suspension.

Expect to hear a final word on supplementary discipline later today.
