The QMJHL President's Cup was decided yesterday and unfortunately for Pierre-Luc Dubois' Blainville-Boisbriand Armada team, they didn't come out victorious.
While the elimination is a bummer, it'll give him time to nurse an injury back to health.
First reported by TVA Sports researcher and Armada announcer Anthony Marcotte: Dubois was playing with a separated shoulder this past round of the playoffs. He suffered the injury during the first game of the series against the Saint John Sea Dogs.

Dubois played in 19 playoff games this year and was able to accumulate 22 points including nine goals. Those numbers are in line with his regular season numbers where in 48 games split between two teams, Dubois put up 55 points in total.
In his most recent series against the Sea Dogs, Dubois was only able to put up one goal in a four-game sweep of his team.
It is unknown at this time how severe the injury is, but it shouldn't sideline him long enough to impact his status for Blue Jackets training camp.
