According to a report from TSN's Darren Dreger, Josh Anderson and the Columbus Blue Jackets are "not even close" in regard to their contract situation.

Anderson is a restricted free agent and was not present on the first day of camp with the Blue Jackets. He played in 78 games in 2016-17 and scored 17 goals with 12 assists for a total of 29 points.
The Blue Jackets regular season opener on October 6 against the New York Islanders at Nationwide Arena.
