Projected to be out four to six weeks, it looks like Columbus Blue Jackets forward Cam Atkinson is nearing a return. Atkinson suffered the injury against the Philadelphia Flyers on December 23.
The diminutive winger is joining the team on their trip to Las Vegas, Nevada as they go to take on the Golden Knights and then will go to take on the Arizona Coyotes in their next game.

Atkinson has played in 32 games this season, scoring six goals and pitching in with seven assists for 13 total points. At Atkinson's current pace, his totals would be his worst since he has become a full-time NHLer.
