Blue Jackets January Social Media Roundup

The Columbus Blue Jackets have only played seven games in January, a rare reprieve in the NHL's grueling schedule. The players have taken advantage of the lull by partaking in some fun travels, while others have shown their philanthropic sides.

A handful of the Blue Jackets took a trip to Miami Beach in their mandated bye-week. Here is Seth Jones, Scott Harrington, Boone Jenner, and Josh Anderson enjoying a night out on the town:

Alexander Wennberg shows his support for LoveYourMelon, a charity that supports children with cancer in the United States. 

 

Proud to wear my @loveyourmelon beanie. It’s an apparel brand dedicated to giving a hat to every child battling cancer in America. Fifty percent of profit from sales go to their nonprofit partners. To date, they have given over 2.6 million dollars and over 110,000 hats to children battling cancer. Cancer is a horrible disease affecting everyone, but it’s especially sad when the victim are kids. Cam Atkinson's charity, Force Network Fund, supports first responders and military forces.
