The Columbus Blue Jackets have a lot of talent and the league is taking notice.
Canadian sports network Sportsnet ranked the Top 100 players in the NHL before the beginning of the 2018-19 season and while the list overall is interesting, Blue Jackets are spotted all over the list.
The names are predictable as Zach Werenski, Seth Jones, Artemi Panarin, and Sergei Bobrovsky are all named.
Werenski is 66th, Jones 34th, Panarin 31st and Bobrovsky 23rd. The players on either side of them are the ones where you scratch your head. It also stings a little bit considering that two of the players could be free agents soon.
Overall it should be encouraging for fans hoping that this year the Blue Jackets might go deep in the playoffs. They have the pieces it just needs to come together.
