One of the more underrated rookies last year was Columbus Blue Jackets center Pierre-Luc Dubois. He started slowly but bit by bit he was able to work himself up to the first line. He specifically was on a line with Artemi Panarin and Cam Atkinson.
Not a bad pairing to play with, right?
Now it is getting him recognition as The Hockey News named him as one of their top 10 fantasy sleepers for the 2018-19 NHL season.
The Hockey News' Matt Larkin has plenty of young guns in the article, but it seems like he believes that a strong end and a good supporting cast should buoy Dubois.
A snippet from The Hockey News article:
The Blue Jackets wanted him to become their No. 1 center, and he’s done exactly that, with Artemi Panarin and Cam Atkinson on his wings. Buy.
As everyone focuses on the other top rookies in the league, Dubois is going to continually be under the radar. If you have a keeper league and he is available, take him and reap the rewards.
