With the battle for the Metropolitan Division in full swing, the latest episode of "Behind The Battle" shows the Blue Jackets defeat divisional opponents New Jersey (twice, actually), Philadelphia and the New York Rangers, and the 6-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on New Year's Eve, capping off a 5-1-0 record in the fourth episode of the season.
This episode was one of the more fun-loving videos the club has released. Between Cam Atkinson forgetting how to speak (and being subsequently made fun of by Seth Jones) and a hilarious gift exchange between Pierre-Luc Dubois, Joonas Korpisalo, and Atkinson (featuring two gifts), there were plenty of lighthearted moments to go around.
It almost feels like ancient history, but that stretch around the holidays really put the Blue Jackets in a position where momentum is on their side, and that's still paying dividends weeks later.
