The Columbus Blue Jackets got some good news on Thursday, as the club announced that veteran center Brandon Dubinsky has been activated off Injured Reserve.

Dubinsky, who missed the past four games with the club, appears to be ready to play in Friday night's game against the Montreal Canadiens at Nationwide Arena.

The center has tallied four goals and six assists for 10 points in 32 games this season, and is arguably the team's best faceoff man.

The Blue Jackets have won their past four games in Dubinsky's absence, though John Tortorella said the club missed the center's energy and personality.
