Matt Duchene has made his presence felt on the ice the last few games and now, he'll get a chance to prove he can do more. Duchene will center the Blue Jackets' top line Saturday night in Nashville, where he'll skate with Artemi Panarin and Cam Atkinson on his wings.
Duchene, who has three assists in a pair of crucial wins against the New York Islanders and Montreal Canadiens, saw some time as the top line pivot in Thursday's game against the Canadiens. His shake and dish to Panarin for what proved to be the game-winning goal in that game was a beaut.
Sliding down is Pierre-Luc Dubois. The 20-year-old center has been great in his two seasons in Columbus, but has struggled in March, recording just one goal and one assist in the month, the lowest scoring of his professional career. He'll skate with Ryan Dzingel and Josh Anderson.
In other roster news, Sergei Bobrovsky will again get the start in goal and Scott Harrington will play for the injured Adam McQuaid, who did not travel with the team to Nashville after suffering an elbow to the head from Montreal's Andrew Shaw Thursday night.
