Eight preseason games, 82 regular season games, and 10 playoff games.
That's 100 games altogether – the most games the Columbus Blue Jackets have ever played in one season. The 2018-19 season was by far the most successful in franchise history, but still, it ended in disappointment as they were eliminated in six games by the Boston Bruins, who are on the verge of another appearance in the Stanley Cup Final.
Much of the Blue Jackets' run was documented by their "Behind the Battle" series, which dropped its final episode of the season this week. Within the 20-plus minutes of video, fans get an all-access look at their preparation for the second round, how the Blue Jackets handled a tough Game 1 loss at TD Garden before bouncing back to win the next two, and so much more.
It's still a bit early to fully appreciate what the Blue Jackets did this season (especially as the Bruins are still playing), but this video is a must-watch for fans who couldn't get enough of their exciting run in the playoffs.
