John Tortorella has done an incredible job with this year's edition of the Blue Jackets.
He certainly needs to be in the Jack Adams conversation. With a 3-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes, the Blue Jackets find themselves in a playoff spot.
They've have scratched and clawed their way back into the conversation by playing as a team under Tortorella's direction.
At 11-14-4 with several injuries, it looked like the season may have already been lost. Somehow, someway, the Blue Jackets have gone 13-2-4 since then and played fantastic hockey.
Tonight's result is the 200th win for Tortorella as #CBJ head coach. He's 200-134-35 in 369 games with the Blue Jackets over five seasons. He's the 10th NHL coach all-time to reach 200 wins with two different franchises (239 wins with TBL, 2000-08).

There's no question that Tortorella has been simply outstanding for the Blue Jackets, and he's a large reason for their success this year. His personality is huge and at times a little brash, but we wouldn't want it any other way.
Here's to 200 more.
