There is nothing better in the NHL then seeing a player that seemingly can't do any wrong when the puck is on his stick.
That has recently been the case with Columbus Blue Jackets forward Oliver Bjorkstrand. For a period of time, every moment he was on the ice, he was scoring goals. He was converting at an absolutely astounding rate.
It makes sense then that Blue Jackets color analyst Jody Shelley wanted to sit down with him and talk about film from his recent hot streak.
What is great about it is the fact that they speak plainly and also break down all of the minutiae details of the play as well. It allows you to feel like an expert without dumbing it down too much for you.
You also get great blurbs like Bjorkstrand talking about fellow forward Sonny Milano: "I never know what he is going to do." I think that is a sentiment most of the league and the fans share with Bjorkstrand.
It will be especially exciting to see more of these and how different players approach breaking down their own film.
