How about some good news for your Sunday?
Yegor Chinakhov (Russia), Samuel Knazko (Slovakia), and Mikael Pyythiä (Finland) will head to the World Junior Championship to represent their countries in two weeks' time.
The World Junior Championship is a U-20 tournament, so the Blue Jackets don't have many prospects that are eligible. Players like Dmitri Voronkov and Kirill Marchenko, who have been playing well in the KHL, are overage.
