Can the Jackets get back to .500?

The Blue Jackets (2-3-0) host the Pittsburgh Penguins (3-0-1) at 7 p.m. ET at Nationwide Arena Saturday night.

Notes from morning skate

Lines

Brad Larsen said the team will go with the same lineup as Thursday's game. Embedded below is a tweet of what the lines looked like in morning skate.

Update on Patrik Laine

Laine skated with the team but did not participate in line rushes.

Brad Larsen said "he's trending the right way" but did not have an update on him.

Soundbites

Justin Danforth: "These are games that are easy to get up for."

Larsen on Chinakov's passing ability: "It just shows that he's not a one-trick pony. I still want him shooting the puck as much as possible because that shot's lethal."

Update from the Penguins

Head coach Mike Sullivan said forward Jake Guentzel is out for tonight's game and the Penguins will play with 11 forwards and seven defensemen.

Will the Jackets win their third-straight game or will Pittsburgh continue its hot start?
