The Columbus Blue Jackets pipeline was ranked fifth in the NHL, per The Athletic's Corey Pronman.

Pronman, who bases his rankings off age, wrote glowingly about the prospect pool and the state of the organization moving forward.

He projects Adam Fantilli to be in the 'elite NHL player' tier, lists David Jiricek as an 'NHL All-Star and top of the lineup player', and suggests that Kent Johnson is a 'Top of the lineup player'. After that, he lists a handful of players that are 'Middle of the lineup players', like Cole Sillinger, Gavin Brindley, Stanislav Svozil, Yegor Chinakhov, and Denton Mateychuk.
