The Blue Jackets announced Tuesday that they recalled forward Eric Robinson from the AHL's Cleveland Monsters. This move comes after the club loaned forward Trey Fix-Wolansky to the AHL and announced that defenseman Damon Severson will miss approximately six weeks with an oblique injury.
Robinson, 28, posted a goal and three assists in nine games with the Monsters after he was sent down following one game played in the NHL this season.
Since signing with the Blue Jackets as an undrafted free agent, Robinson has played in 260 NHL games and scored 37 goals with 44 assists.
The Blue Jackets are back in action on Wednesday as they host Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks at 7 p.m. ET on Bally Sports Ohio.
