The Blue Jackets announced Monday morning that they recalled goaltender Daniil Tarasov from his conditioning loan and assigned goaltender Jet Greaves to the AHL's Cleveland Monsters. This move comes with Elvis Merzlikins currently on IR with an illness that is expected to sideline him for a week.
Tarasov, the No. 86 overall pick in the 2017 Draft, posted a 2-1-0 record along with a .915SV% and a 2.57 GAA in four appearances for the Monsters on his conditioning assignment after missing the start of the season with a knee injury.
