Yegor Chinakhov will not return to Saturday's contest against the Lightning after leaving the second period with an upper-body injury.
In 40 games this season, he's posted 14-10--24.
After the game, Blue Jackets head coach Pascal Vincent said that Chinakhov will most likely be out in the team's next game on Tuesday against the Senators in Kanata, Ontario, and added that they'll go from there.
The Blue Jackets play the Senators at Canadian Tire Centre on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET on Bally Sports Ohio.
