Being a star athlete doesn't always have to be hard work.
Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Seth Jones experienced this first-hand when he was on a press tour with the NHL and multiple other superstars.
He started his day by appearing on "The Today Show" on NBC, where players, including Jones, discussed the 100th anniversary of the league. They also watched as host Matt Lauer and company put a few wrist shots on new Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.

Jones helped the NHL unveil a new set of guidelines they hope all hockey players will adopt in the near future. They are calling it the "Declaration of Principles" and the league hopes to use it to promote character development and various other life skills.
Jones got an opportunity to extol the virtues of hockey and what the Declaration of Principles can do as an initiative for others.
"The [Declaration of Principles] are about what the game teaches you," Jones said. "For me it was discipline, time management, those sorts of things. … [Hockey] teaches you a lot of different things, respect. The culture of our game is second to none."
Jones' day wasn't done there. He would later meet with several national media outlets, including Kevin Allen of USA Today Sports and Alex Prewitt from Sports Illustrated, to talk about the upcoming season.
