Another decision appears to have been made.
The Columbus Blue Jackets have high hopes for prospect Jonathan Davidsson, who was one of the last forwards left in training camp and pushing for a spot on the roster.
It appears, though, that he's headed back to Sweden as Columbus finalizes its 23-man group – this according to a report from Swedish reporter Uffe Bodin:
Fin frstrkning fr Djurgrden: Jonathan Davidsson tervnder till SHL. Gjorde en riktigt bra camp fr Columbus. Jag tror p ett rejlt genombrott nu.

Davidsson has a clause in his contract that if he doesn't make the NHL roster, he heads back to Sweden and his club, Djurgarden. The 21-year-old is entering his third full season with Djurgarden in the Swedish Hockey League, the country's top professional league. In 2017-18, Davidsson had 31 points (10 goals, 21 assists) in 52 regular season games and added eight points (four goals, four assists) in 11 playoff games.
Davidsson figures to be in Columbus sooner than later, but it won't be this season.
