The Blue Jackets signed London Knights forward Max McCue to a three-year, entry-level contract that begins in the 2024-25 season.
McCue is a 6-foot-1, 183-pound forward from Sudbury, Ontario, who was selected by the Sharks with the 156th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, but did not sign with the club.
In four years with the Ontario Hockey League's London Knights, he's posted 48-82--130 in 208 regular season games in addition to 8-4--12 in 25 playoff contests.
This season, the 21-year-old has posted 24-26--50 in 52 games.

The Blue Jackets are back in action on Saturday in Chicago to take on the Blackhawks at 8 p.m. ET on Bally Sports Ohio.
