Speed is one of the most cited hurdles from any league to the pros. The Blue Jackets believe they have found some of that quickness in the skating of first-round pick Liam Foudy.
Having hands that have that quickness is nice, too; second-round pick Kirill Marchenko is making his case to be used for that on his new team (check out 7:00, or the whole video).
Marchenko is coming from an MHL campaign where he was scoring in about 40 percent of his games over the past two seasons. He also had a strong outing at the World Junior Championships for Russia, where he had six points in five games.
