After three eventful seasons in Columbus, Scott Hartnell's time in our fair city has come to an end.
The team announced Thursday afternoon that it will buy out the final two years of Hartnell's contract, making him an unrestricted free agent and available to sign with any other NHL club on July 1.
While a tough decision, the move frees up necessary salary cap room for the Blue Jackets, who want to be aggressive this summer and upgrade their roster. But that's for another story; right here and right now, we're bringing you the best of Hartnell during his stint in Columbus.
