I was looking at cap room for this upcoming season. Initially I thought the CBJ would have a ton compared to most teams. But there is a LOT of cap room out there for a LOT of teams.   Link to see here.

CBJ has 40M (2nd most). But get this, there are 18 teams, over half the league that have 20+ million in cap space and 6 teams with 30+ million.  Yes, some have to use the money to resign their own players as they dont have 23 guys under contract.  But the amount available to spend is quite a bit.

I am not sure Waddell is going to be able to wheel and deal like I thought he may have been able to with other teams also having cap room.
