John Tortorella has indicated that Sergei Bobrovsky will get more nights off down the stretch. Just not tonight.

It's two-fold: Bobrovsky deserves the rest, of course, but Joonas Korpisalo also needs to see more game action. He is the team's backup goaltender now and will be relied upon to not only start games, but to help the Blue Jackets continue to accumulate points. They're in a good spot with their goaltending at the moment; you may have heard that Bobrovsky in rolling right along, and Korpisalo has allowed four goals in his last three starts including a shutout against the Islanders on Feb. 25.

And so, it should be no surprise that the two will share duties this weekend against the Buffalo Sabres in a home-and-home series.

Bobrovsky will start tonight in the home leg at Nationwide Arena, and it's reasonable to assume that Korpisalo gets the tail end tomorrow night at KeyBank Center in Buffalo. After five months of not seeing each other once, the Blue Jackets and Sabres will square off three times in the next three weeks. Buffalo visits Columbus to complete the season series on Mar. 28 at Nationwide Arena.
