And so it continues.
Colorado Avalanche forward Matt Duchene has reported to training camp. It was believed that the dynamic forward was going to miss part of the camp in hopes of being traded.
TSN's Darren Dreger is reporting that even though Duchene is in camp, the Avalanche management team will continue to pursue a trade in hopes of getting a deal done.
Duchene update: Plan is to attend camp, but sources say both sides remain committed to trade as best case and will continue to work on it.

The situation continues on despite threats from Duchene's camp and renewed chatter that the Avalanche are looking to continue. The Columbus Blue Jackets are reportedly one of the few teams interested in Duchene's services.
The Blue Jackets open the regular season on Oct. 6 at Nationwide Arena against the New York Islanders.
