Matt Calvert is a scoring machine, folks.
The Blue Jackets winger scored his second goal of Game 5 Saturday on the best or worst breakaway you may ever see.
Capitalizing on a puck that got away from T.J. Oshie at the blue line, Calvert skated in alone on Washington goalie Braden Holtby with his eyes on the back of the net.
Slipping in through the circles, Calvert whiffed!
But he quickly regained control of the puck, spun around and tucked a backhander in off of the Capitals goalie's skate to tie the game at two just 4:45 into the second period.
With two on the afternoon, Calvert has tied a postseason career high. He also had two goals on April 19, 2014 at Pittsburgh.
