A recent tradition continues and with the cold weather, it should be in a perfect environment.
According to Aaron Portzline of The Athletic, the Winter Park at McFerson Commons will be returning from February 2-25.
#CBJ announce the return of Winter Park at McFerson Commons, located across the street from Nationwide Arena. February 2-25. For the fourth consecutive year, the NHL-size ice rink that anchors Winter Park will be open for 24 days of skating.

The tradition started back when the Columbus Blue Jackets hosted the All-Star game and has continued ever since.
Portzline also reports that the Blue Jackets have tentatively scheduled a practice on January 31 at the Winter Park.

In years past, it cost $5 to skate, including rental. A schedule for the open skating will be announced closer to the opening of the Winter Park.
