The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced the signing of winger Oliver Bjorkstrand to a three-year contract extension worth $7.5M ($2.5M AAV).
Bjorkstrand was the last remaining Blue Jacket player who was without a contract for the upcoming season.

The bridge deal means Bjorkstrand will still be a restricted free agent (RFA) with arbitration rights when his deal expires in 2021.
Jarmo Kekalainen had this to say about Bjorkstrand:
“He is just scratching the surface of the type of player he can be and we believe he has the potential to be a dynamic offensive player for our club.”
Capfriendly projects the Blue Jackets to have $5,634,168 in cap space with all players signed for the upcoming season.
