Hello there, Alexandre Texier.
The Columbus Blue Jackets recalled forward Alexandre Texier and defenseman Adam Clendening from the Cleveland Monsters on Thursday afternoon.

The bigger story here is by far the recall of Texier, a highly-touted Blue Jackets' prospect who joined their AHL-affiliate in March and has already made a big impact with seven points in seven games.
With the inconsistent play over the course of the season for the Blue Jackets, and a playoff spot still still on the line, one would think this call-up isn't without a reason, right? In fact, Texier is expected to play Friday night.
Whoa. Texier has been dazzling in Cleveland, totaling 5-2-7 in seven games with @monstershockey. Cannot imagine #CBJ recalling him if he wasnt going to play, especially with Cleveland in the race.

Also, D Adam Clendening recalled, as you probably expected.
Texier had 41 points in 55 games this season in the Liiiga league for KalPa, and then followed up with five goals and two assists for the Monsters. Texier was a second-round pick for Columbus in 2017, and may be about to get his shot.
The Blue Jackets travel to New York to take on the Rangers tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden.
