Reinforcements are coming from Cleveland.
The Jackets announced they are recalling defenseman Gavin Bayreuther from the AHL's Cleveland Monsters.

This move comes after Nick Blankenburg left Sunday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return. Recalling Bayreuther suggests Blankenburg could miss some time.
Bayreuther has posted three assists in three AHL games this season. He played 43 games for the Blue Jackets last season and registered eight assists.
The Blue Jackets host the Arizona Coyotes Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Nationwide Arena. The game will be broadcast on Bally Sports Ohio and 97.1 FM The Fan.
