The Blue Jackets activated center and captain Boone Jenner off injured reserve on Friday after a 15-game absence due to a broken jaw he suffered on Dec. 8. Additionally, BlueJackets.com's Jeff Svoboda reported that Zach Werenski, Nick Blankenburg, and Patrik Laine were at Friday's morning skate.

In 29 games this season, he's posted 13 goals, which are one back from the team lead, five assists, and 18 points, and is headed to the All-Star Game for the first time in his career.

Werenski has been on IR since Dec. 27 when he suffered an ankle injury against the Devils and is expected to miss four-to-six weeks. His 25 points (1-24--25) are tied for second on the team and first amongst defensemen in the 34 games he's played in 2023-24.

Blankenburg has posted zero points in six games and is on IR with an upper-body injury he suffered on Dec. 19.

Laine, who's posted 6-3--9 in 18 games, is on IR with a clavicle fracture he suffered on Dec. 14 and is expected to miss six weeks.

The Blue Jackets will look to close out this homestand with back-to-back wins when they host New Jersey.
