Blue Jackets head coach Pascal Vincent said that forward Patrik Laine, who has been out since Dec. 14 with a clavicle fracture, suffered a "setback" and is out through the all-star break after it appeared he could return on the team's five-game road trip.

In 18 games this season, Laine has posted six goals and nine points.
Vincent added that Elvis Merzlikins will start for the Blue Jackets, Andrew Peeke will take the injured Adam Boqvist's spot in the lineup, and Jack Roslovic will play after leaving Thursday's game after taking a hit from Jonathan Huberdeau. Huberdeau received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding for the hit.
The Blue Jackets and Canucks face off from Rogers Arena in Vancouver at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday.
