The Blue Jackets added Cleveland Monsters forward Mikael Pyyhtia to the roster on emergency recall, the team announced Wednesday.

Pyyhtia, the No. 114 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, posted 0-1--1 in two NHL games and 3-0--3 in seven AHL last season. This season, he's posted 7-20--27 in 57 AHL games. He is the fourth AHL player to be added to the roster in the last five days along with forwards Trey Fix-Wolansky, Carson Meyer, and Brendan Gaunce.

The Blue Jackets are currently dealing with several injuries to their forwards, as Yegor Chinakhov is day-to-day with an upper-body injury, Sean Kuraly is week-to-week with a lower-body injury, Justin Danforth is out indefinitely with a concussion, and Kirill Marchenko is day-to-day with an illness, although head coach Pascal Vincent said he should be good to go for Thursday's game against the Senators.

The Blue Jackets host the Senators at 7 p.m. ET on Bally Sports Ohio.
