Dumais, 19, was selected by the Blue Jackets in the third round, 69th overall, in the 2022 Draft, and scored 54-86--140 in 64 games, leading the league in assists and points while finishing behind Connor Bedard as the CHL's second-leading scorer.

Dumais' Halifax Mooseheads are in the QMJHL finals against the Quebec Remparts, a team headlined by fellow Blue Jackets prospect James Malatesta. The series begins Friday. However, Dumais hasn't played since April 30th with an injury.

After scoring 39-70--109 in 68 games last year, Dumais followed up his draft-eligible season with a campaign to remember.
